News: More information on Pokémon Go

With the beta already  started in the United States, developers the Pokémon Company and Niantic decided to give us some more information on their upcoming mobile game, Pokémon Go.

The augmented reality game will give players the possibility to catch over 100 different Pokémon using, of course, Pokéballs. These Pokéballs and other special items will be available at so called PokéStops, conveniently placed at interesting public places such as historical monuments.

With your in-game Pokémon trainer avatar, you can of course connect to your fellow Pokémon trainers. You will also be able to find Gyms all over the world (yes, the real world). In these gyms you will be able to put the Pokémon you caught to the test by challenging these gyms.

While the exact release date for Pokémon Go is yet to be revealed, the game is scheduled for a 2016 release on mobile devices.
